Craft Gin Made with Six Ingredients Grown in Ehime
Dogo Gin Rokusen, a craft gin with "spirits," was born from a commitment to using Ehime Prefecture's botanicals, specifically six princess-like products (hime) nurtured in Ehime.
Enjoy a fresh, sweet, and floral aroma reminiscent of white wine, a savory aroma derived from chestnuts and naked barley, a crisp taste from the gin's unique spices, and a hint of sweetness.
The base alcohol is an aromatic authentic shochu (barley shochu) made from "naked barley," of which Ehime Prefecture boasts the top production volume in Japan. In addition to juniper berries, the botanicals include "Itadai-Gomyo Kogen Grapes (Pione)," a Matsuyama City "Matsuyama Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Products Brand" certified product, "Beni no Shizuku" strawberries from Toon City, "Nakayama Chestnuts," a "Masumasu, Iyoshi. Brand" certified product, "Nanaore Koume" from Tobe Town, "Fuji" apples from Kumakogen Town, and "naked barley" from Masaki Town. These six ingredients are blended with seven kinds of herbs and spices.
