Dogo Beer, the local beer of Dogo Onsen, one of Japan's oldest and most renowned hot springs, is brewed using the excellent water from Nigitatsu, the birthplace of sake "Nikitatsu", as its brewing water. From the careful selection of malt and hops to the brewing process, it leverages the accumulated techniques of long years of sake brewing. It is a live beer, unpasteurized and still containing yeast, made with a generous amount of high-quality malt.

Stout, on the other hand, is a beer style that has been brewed in England and Ireland for centuries. It is a dark beer with a unique roasted malt aroma and a strong bitterness.
